Three markets, served on their own terms

Eighteen years of listening to what each buyer actually needs.

Japan — since 2008

Japanese buyers prefer cluster-packed fruit and value highland and super-highland bananas for their naturally sweet taste and consistent eating quality. Cooler growing elevations produce firmer pulp — ideal for Japan's strict retail standards. Japan is our founding market, and the discipline it demands shapes how we handle every market. The Philippines supplies about three quarters of Japan's banana imports.²

China — since 2011

The Chinese market is following Japan's direction: buyers increasingly choose highland fruit for its sweetness and keeping quality. As Chinese consumers become more quality-focused, demand for high-elevation bananas keeps growing.

Middle East — since 2013

Gulf buyers prefer fruit from lower highland elevations, around 500 to 700 meters — durable fruit with the keeping quality for long voyages. Our Middle East programs arrive in good condition after extended transit.
